autumn 2024

See the site home page for the current update.

I’m a little frustrated I can’t do everything I plan to do. I’m not ready to add more to read here, but emergent technicalities are getting clear, while having fractalic tendencies of revealing more modes of technicality, like a hiker topping a hill in expectation that the oasis is to be found, at last; but there’s another hill.

Anyway, the garden’s growing well. (I “hear” Peter Sellars saying that as Chauncey Gardiner of Being There.)

I’m regularly exuberant with little revelations, causing me to wander into new woods rather than staying focused on capturing words ahead.

And I don’t easily avoid doing discursive email to professors.

Soon I’ll have more to share online.

Nov. 9 | Learning never ends: “trumpy 1.01.’

Nov. 4 | Tomorrow, tomorrow... Life is so strange.

Oct. 25 | The short “facets of evolutionary dissonance” is socio-culturally postured; the “campaign 2024” set is socio-politically postured; and the “philological sense of Our evolving” set is literary-conceptual.

Those occasioned differences somewhat trope my widely-horizoned interest
in interdomainity, commonly called “interdisciplinarity,” which I don’t like because appealing foci of inquiry (psychological, interpersonal, cultural, conceptual, social, and democratic) cross standard domains within and between academic territories. How the topic areas above belong together
isn’t evident.

Oct. 13 | Conceptual busyness got the better of me, so I don’t have an easy update.... Here’s my solution to the Ukraine war (NY Times article comment) and a short polemic about Bozo’s bullying (ditto).

I feel close to doing a flurry of sprouts, but processing woods of notes in my scaffolded pathmaking keeps revealing self-constellating vortexes in the trop-
ical landscape’s textual horizon I follow of course.

Sept. 27 | My “philological sense of Our evolving” has no obvious relation to the current political season, but the last of its six discussions alludes to prospecting progressive practice, which complements my prevailing interest in educational exemplarity.
