Love your ownmost work, at best responding to resplendent horizonal appeals of Purpose.

Purpose: It’s integral to all good action, expressing self-enhancive, authentically preferable, and validly efficacious values.

Persistent purposefulness is a hallmark of our evolutionary form of life because we may durably aspire. We show purposive flourishing, not merely thriving
for the sake of adaptivity.

At best, we design futures, not merely experience Time’s happenstances. We bind together near-term purposes into lasting reasons to be well “forever.”
“A life expresses Sselfidentical cohering which is drawn by its starring purposes.” A binding fidelity can cohere personal, interpersonal, cultural, social, and political life through real engagements which advance one’s humanity.

That’s why conceptual attention can be useful, as well as fascinating (for some of us). Conceptual well-formedness (e.g., results of conceptual venturing, typical of academics) offers appellant cohering which may be given telic efficacy of fulfilling and admirable Purpose.

To my mind, telic efficacy of appellant cohering was always the implicit calling of “spiritual” life, and it is the point of discerning Telos We choose because intelligent design makes good* ancestors.
